Definisi Verbs dalam Bahasa Inggris

Verb atau kata kerja dalam bahasa Inggris merupakan jenis kata yang digunakan untuk mengekspresikan aksi, keadaan, atau keberadaan suatu benda, orang, atau konsep dalam sebuah kalimat. Verb selalu menjadi predikat dalam sebuah kalimat yang menggambarkan apa yang dilakukan atau keadaan dari subjek dalam kalimat tersebut.

Verb dalam bahasa Inggris juga dapat diubah bentuknya untuk menunjukkan waktu (tense) atau aspek (aspect), seperti simple present, simple past, present continuous, past continuous, present perfect, past perfect, dan future tense.

Ciri-Ciri Virbs dalam Bahasa Inggris

Bisa digabungkan dengan kata “tidak”. Contoh:

Sedang makan: Eating.

Tidak sedang makan: Not Eating.
